Activision Blizzard already confirmed during its quarterly call to investors that the last franchise of "Starcraft" will arrive this year, but did not specified its release date.
Usually games without a specific release date automatically gets Dec. 31 place holders, but a South African retailer listed the "Starcraft 2: Legacy Of The Void" release date as Nov. 27, Lazygamer reported.
The gaming site added that the date falls on a Friday, "which doesn't exactly line-up with traditional Tuesday launch dates in the USA," but "fit with common South African and European release day practices."
"Raru is also incredibly notorious for leaking sensitive information through pre-orders - with the online retailer first leaking the existence of Greninja, Jigglypuff and Splatoon Amiibo, all three of which were accurate," Lazygamer added.
"They also recently leaked a suspected release date for the upcoming MewTwo Amiibo, although we're still waiting to see if that pans out
Speculations now arises that "Starcraft 2: Legacy Of The Void" release date in North America could be earlier.
Meanwhile producer Tim Morten already confirmed that "Starcraft 2: Legacy Of The Void" will be the end of the "Starcraft 2" storyline, Gamerheadlines reported.
"This isn't the end of StarCraft, but it's the end of this story for these characters. We don't have any specific plans, but I'll say that the universe has so much potential for more stories, clearly other stories could be told," Tim Morten told IGN.
"It's very rewarding for us to hear that there's demand out there for more RTS content in theWarcraft universe so once we're done with Void I think we'll get together as a team and talk about what would inspire us to work on next. There's no question, though, that we'll considerWarcraft, StarCraft, or even new ideas. Anything is possible."
