"Supernatural" star Jared Padalecki opened up about his battle against depression a couple of months ago, following an alleged breakdown on the CW show's set.
He then asked fans to send him messages of love and encouragement during a bout of melancholia, even having to cancel some fan events to find strength in the arms of his family.
He has since been promoting the "Always Keep Fighting" campaign to help destigmatize clinical depression as well as raise funds for charity related to the said affliction.
Everybody let out a sigh of relief later on, when he attended the "Gilmore Girls" reunion with his wife and a genuinely huge smile on his face. He's been very vocal about his fight against depression ever since.
Fans also surprised the TV star with a touching tea light event during the San Diego Comic Con. The entire Hall H lit up with the 7,000 "Always Keep Fighting" tea lights on July 11. Others who couldn't be there showed their support by buying the campaign's shirts sold here.
