Apparently not affected by "nasty divorce" rumors floating around, George Clooney and wife Amal Alamuddin are reportedly trying for a baby!
US Weekly recently revealed that the high-profile couple is already taking the next step to make their family complete.
"They decided that it would be the right time," a source allegedly told the entertainment news site. "Amal isn't taking on extra work at the moment and just continuing with the cases she has."
The report further said that the international lawyer hopes to give birth to their first son or daughter in London next year. It seems that the couple will be building their family in the $15 million countryside home that will hopefully be done by then.
Another source also told the site that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are making sure that they will indeed conceive.
"They recently visited a fertility center," the said insider revealed. "This is something they really want."
This news comes just months after the 54-year-old actor insisted that fatherhood isn't "high on my list." However, it seems that he already changed his mind almost a year after tying the knot in Venice, Italy.
"George is ready for this step and he thinks that Amal will be a great mother," another insider told US Weekly, adding that the "Ocean's Eleven" star was also inspired by his friends' bond with their kids.
Despite the news, the couple's divorce rumors are still on a roll these days.
Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported an OK Magazine article stating that Clooney has been selling several of his properties because of his wife's jealousy.
The report revealed that the A-lister "is listing multiple properties for sale, and the actor is parting ways with his villa in Italy, his beach house in Cabo, his apartment in New York City, and his house in the popular Los Angeles area, Fryman Cannon."
The UN lawyer also reportedly "ordered George to sell all of his homes that he used to entertain multiple women in when he was one of Hollywood's most sought after bachelors."
If this is true, then perhaps George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's baby might just help calm her jealousy down.
