No More Guns N' Roses New Album As DJ Ashba Announces Exit From The Band

| By

After confirming that Guns N' Roses is not making any new album as they are on hiatus, new update reveals that DJ Ashba has actually left the hard rock band.

As reported by Ultimate Classic Rock the guitarist announced his exit with a "heavy heart."

"it is with a very heavy heart and yet great pride that I announce that I've decided to close this chapter of my life and encapsulate the wonderful times that I've shared with Guns N' Roses into fond memories," Ashba reportedly wrote of his exit from Guns N' Roses.

"I have reached a point in my life where I feel its time to dedicate myself to my band Sixx:A.M., my adoring wife and family, and to the many new adventures that the future holds for me."

And while fans should not expect a new Guns N' Roses album, DJ Ashba is on the other hand excited to create new song with his band, Sixx:A.M. together with bandmates Nikki Sixx and James Michael.

"I have always been driven by my passion for creating music and Sixx:A.M. has always been a place where I can express myself honestly and share that passion with my two brothers and bandmates, Nikki Sixx and James Michael. As you know I have also been blessed with the love and support of my incredible wife, Naty, who has been at my side for much of this amazing journey," Ashba said of his band.

Ashba's Guns N' Roses bandmates have yet to comment on the guitarist's decision to leave.

Ashba however, was the one who announced the band's decision to take a break in a previous interview with Las Vegas Sun.

"Ever since I joined G N'R six years ago, it's almost been non-stop touring. But we've kind of talked of more touring, and I'm looking at this more as a hiatus than the end," he told the publication.
