After failing to present "Kingdom Hearts 3" at E3 2015, Square Enix is reportedly going to announce details about the game including release date, trailer and gameplay.
In addition to other Disney Interactive games, IGN reported that the Japanese game studio is set to introduce "never-before-seen gameplay, trailers, new reveals, and surprises" from "Kingdom Hearts 3."
And while director Tetsuya Nomura did not mention anything about "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date, he did share details about the game's progress.
"Other elements, including the mini-games and other various smaller items; their progress is very varied," he reportedly said according to Gaming Bolt.
"Some of them are polished and very close to final state, but at the same time some elements are still in the planning phase and I haven't laid out the groundwork yet."
And in a separate interview with Kingdom Hearts Insider, Nomura did share further detais about what to expect with Sora when "Kingdom Hearts 3" comes.
"In addition to the Keyblade transformations for Sora, it becomes possible to maneuver using specific forms and actions. There will be many battle choices," he revealed.
"Take whatever strategy, it will be up to the player. Of course, for those who button mash will have an exhilarating experience but for those who want technical fights will also find fun making combinations."
Furthermore, the highly anticipated game is confirmed to have left Luminous and jumped to Unreal Engine 4, which is expected to provide better gaming experience to players.
And in its efforts to provide a better gaming experience for players come "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date, Square Enix has reportedly moved to Unreal Engine 4 from the previous Luminous.
"The technology is moving forward a lot," Nomura explained of the switch as reported by Eurogamer. "That's something we've learned from the West, I think, in a big way. We're using Unreal Engine 4 right now, and that really has changed the way we make the game."
