While fans are excitingly waiting for "NBA 2K16" official release date, 2K Sports has recently launched a new trailer that will further excite fans.
The new trailer featured 2015 NBA MVP Stephen Curry in the footage titled "Beyond the Shadows."
After winning the NBA Championship from Lebron James' Cleveland Cavaliers, 2K Sports has released an "NBA 2K16" trailer that commemorates the Curry's humble beginning.
"The trailer chronicles Curry's rise from a lightly recruited high school player in North Carolina to a superstar at Davidson University to his epic impact with the Warriors," Bleacher Report stated of the trailer.
Director Spike Lee who narrated the footage, said that this year's concept of "NBA 2K16" MyCareer is "Be the Story."
According to Denver Post, Vice President of Sports Development at Visual Concepts Jeff Thomas revealed that director Spike Lee is about to bring whole new aspect to the game's story.
"It wasn't a hard sell," Thomas revealed. "Spike was really receptive when I first met with him. He actually said to us, 'It's about time I worked with 2K.' He loves basketball, and this is a new frontier for him."
"We make an E-rated game," Thomas talked about the game being available for all ages. "It's an NBA licensed project and obviously the NBA cares a lot about their brand and makes sure we stick within those boundaries. Spike understood that from the get-go, but he didn't take his foot off the gas because of that. He still brought the drama."
And as the release date is fast approaching, 2K Sports is reportedly going to introduce big changes in the game.
"NBA 2K16" is reportedly going to include a "Pro-Am" feature to the MyPlayer mode for full customizable feature that will result in a better gaming experience, Bleacher Report claimed.
The new changes will reportedly allow players to customize their jerseys, arenas and logos while competing online with other player's team.
"Pro-Am is a new mode for MyPLAYERs in NBA 2K16," the official statement said. "Grab your friends, design your own logos, jerseys and arenas for full branding of your team. After your identity has been stamped, rise up the leaderboards with your team to compete against the best in the world in five-on-five matches on full-sized courts with NBA rules in a venue that supports 40 players playing simultaneously."
"NBA 2K16" is available for pre-orders, which will arrive on Sept. 25 while the actual release is happening on Sept. 29.
