While fans of former "Love & Hip Hop New York" star Erica Mena are excitingly waiting for her big wedding with rapper-turned-actor Shad "Bow Wow" Moss, the couple reported moved out of the basement where Bow Wow is living.
The rapper who also appears in "CSI: Cyber" has reportedly been living in his mon's basement for years, In Touch Weekly reported.
But now Bow Wow, who is about to marry his 27-year-old fiancée, has decided to move out of the basement in preparation to their wedding.
"Man lots to do. Me and Bow getting ready for this big move & I have lots to do so I can drop @Her_by_emena fall/winter collection & lingerie," Erica Mena revealed on Twitter.
Adding, "Decorating and furnishing our new home is going to be a mission. Wish us luck. "
And while many made fun of Bow Wow's basement living, the 28-year-old rapper/actor explained that it "just made sense" to live in his mon's eight-bedroom mansion in Atlanta.
"It's like I have a condo downstairs," he previously told People at the time.
"I've had 100 people there and my mom has been asleep and has never heard the music, screaming, laughter, or drinking. I mean full blown house parties downstairs while she is in bed asleep."
And as the couple moved out of the basement, the former "Love & Hip Hop New York" star revealed to Global Grind that they are preparing for a wedding that will somehow involve their fans.
"No, they came to me for the wedding," she answered when asked about Mona offering her to do her own show. "The wedding special was ours. And then we turned it down, so Yandy (Smith) got it...process of elimination. That whole getting married live, having the fans pick the cake, all that stuff... That was my idea."
And in a separate interview with Hollywood Life, Mena revealed that the wedding is happening soon and that fans would get to be involved in it.
"We have something in the works. The fans have been thrown off since we got engaged. But it's definitely happening," she exclusively told HollywoodLife.com about her wedding plans. "The fans can be a part of it in some type of way. It's happening soon."
