While fans are excitingly waiting for Ellie Goulding to release a new album following her phenomenal hit single, "Love Me Like You Do," the songstress apparently took some time off to be with her boyfriend.
According to Daily Mail, Goulding and her boyfriend, Dougie Poynter went to Ibiza and spent some quality time together with their friends.
The group also partied at White Isle, the publicationa added.
And while Ellie Goulding has taken a break from making her new album, things are reportedly right on schedule.
In a previous interview with Capital FM the 28-year-old English singer revealed that one of her goals for this year is to finish recording the new album.
"The album's going well," Goulding said of the progress. "I'm just trying to take my time a bit more, this year my focus is solely about getting my record finished."
Furthermore, she revealed that it's most likely that her new album will be launch next year.
"The only big thing coming up for me now is my third album, which won't be out until next year. Everything is going into that," Goulding revealed.
She also confessed that up until now, she is in awe of how her single "Love Me Like You Do" has instantly become a phenomenal hit.
"This song has just gone absolutely bonkers," she said. "It's just surreal, I can't even fathom it right now. I feel like the luckiest person in the world."
"When I'm like 'this song means everything to me, it has to do well,' and it doesn't do as well as I think then it's so sad. But when I'm like 'Well, I hope it does good but I'm not going to go crazy about it when it doesn't,' and it does, I'm like, how does the psychology work on this?"
She did not mention though, if she feels any pressure about getting an equally hit success with her new album.
