It's no secret how new comer Meghan Edmonds has conquered the spotlight when she was introduced in "Real Housewives of Orange County" this season.
And while she has obviously taken the spotlight, Edmonds claimed that the main reason for her moving to southern California was to take care of her teenage stepdaughter Hayley.
However, sources of RadarOnline.com apparently revealed that the legged blonde reality star only came to Orange County for one reason, and that's not to parent her stepdaughter.
The online publication exposed that the 31-year-old wife of baseball legend Jim Edmonds, wanted so badly to become a member of the hit reality show, "Real Housewives of Orange County," thus she transferred to the west.
"She has always wanted to be famous," an alleged insider told Radar. "She knew if she moved, she could get a spot on the show."
While Jim's ex-wife, Allison, was previously rumored to be joining the show years ago but decided not to, Meghan on the other is reportedly more than willing to show her life to the world.
"Allison decided not to join the show because she was concerned about her privacy," the source explained. "But Meghan really likes to be in the spotlight."
She immediately became friends with "RHOC" original cast members Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow during the first few episodes of this season.
Tamra reportedly called Meghan Edmonds her "mini me," while Dubrow immediately developed a strong friendship with the new cast.
"I love this girl. Meghan is my mini me. She's about 15 inches taller than me, but she's my mini me," "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Tamra Judge said to greenroom cameras.
And as for Meghan she thinks of Tamra as her her "new mentor."
However, one "RHOC" original star is not so fond of the newbie. Vicki Gunvalson has been really pissed off with Meghan Edmonds and just recently she criticized the newbie's parenting skills to Hayley.
In a report by Daily Mail, Gunvalson reportedly told Edmonds that her parenting style is just hurting Edmonds' 17-year-old stepdaughter.
"You're hurting her as parents because kids need discipline," Vicki reportedly told Meghan after learning that she's allowing her step-daughter to just sit along and get no job.
"You're not helping her at all, you're hurting her by not having her be accountable," the 53-year-old reality star added.
Meghan Edmonds on the other hand, could not understand what Vicki's deal, when the OG of the reality show when she reportedly brought her 28-year-old daughter a $46,300 brand new Tahoe car.
"What's the deal Vicki? She can tell me what to do with Hayley...she has strict opinions about everything," Meghan Edmonds told the cameras.
The "Real Housewives of Orange County" newbie added, "You can't give it to me and then be a hypocrite and actually, literally, give a car to your daughter."
