Ahead of its expected release, Xioami Redmi Note 2 fulls specs revealed on Oppomart.
Earlier reports claim that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will come with an octa-core 2.2GHz Cortex-A53 processor; PowerVR G6200 GPU paired with 2GB of RAM; 13MP main camera and 5MP selfie snapper; 16GB expandable storage and a 3,020 mAh battery, according to GSM Arena.
But ahead of its official release, Oppomart 's listed the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone's full specs which revealed a little different from previous leaks. According to the lisitng it will arrive with a 5.5-inch 2.5D display with a screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixel.
IB Times reported that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 full specs may also include two processor variants- one with Mediatek and Snapdragon.
The Mediatek version, with 64-bit MediaTek (MT6795) octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU which support dual Micro-SIMs has been listed on Oppomart at $199, NDTV reported, While IB Times added that the Snapdragon 615 variant is at $249.
In addition, it will be equipped with 13MP main camera with Sony IMX214 sensor and a dual tone LED flash and 5 MP camera on its front and will be backed by 3,100 mAh capacity.
As for its storage, there will be an onboard 16GB and an expandable memory through a microSD, NDTV added.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is set to be unveiled in China, along with the introduction of the MIUI 7 tomorrow. The device is said to run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with the Xiaomi's new user interface on top of it.
While its global launch New Delhi is set on Aug. 19.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi5 which has been confirmed to be the first smartphone to feature the MIUI 7 was rumored to go official on the said event too.
