Apple iPhone 6c leaked to be launched along with iPhone 6S ad iPhone 6S Plus on their expected release on Sept. 9.
The Apple iPhone 6c was previously rumored to go official after the iPhone 6S and its Plus variant's release. But in a new report from GSM Arena, notorious gadget leaker Evan Blass leaked on Twitter that three upcoming iPhones will be released "concurrently."
Rumors also suggest that the iPhone 6c will retain the 4.0inch screen display of the iPhone 5c and "correct most other aspects that turned the 5c into a market flop," GSM Arena added.
"Instead of being a cheaply-repackaged last-generation device, like the iPhone 5c was, the 6c will allegedly come with a new generation chip, based on either Samsung's 14nm or TSMC's 16nm manufacturing process. That means that hardware won't be directly borrowed from the iPhone 6, which runs of a 20nm A8 chip."
9to5mac added that the iPhone 6c might be finally paired up with Apple Touch ID and Apple Pay, while it is still unclear if Apple dropped the iPhone 5c colourful hues and adapt a metal chassis.
Meanwhile, the much awaited iPhone 6S is said to feature Apple's latest technology the "Touch Force" which was first introduced on the Apple Watch and Macbook, and its screen size remains at 4.7inch while the Plus variant boasts a larger 5.5inch screen display, Mac World reported.
"Some of the Force Touch gestures will come from Apple's latest MacBooks. For instance, a user can Force Touch a link in Safari to see a preview of that webpage. The gesture also works for deep pressing on an address or contact name to see a preview of a map view or contact card, respectively. Similarly, a user can Force Touch a word to look up its definition," 9to5Mac wrote.
As for these upcoming iPhones prices with a telco contract, Apple Insider speculates that the iPhone 6s Plus starts at $299, iPhone 6s at $199, and the iPhone 6c "in a range of colors" for $99.
