After joining the Twitter parade a bit late, "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles finally widened his social media horizon by making an Instagram account!
The TV heartthrob has been sharing his life to fans through photos on Twitter and it looks like he finally realized that he could share much more snapshots on Instagram. But what really made him join the photo-sharing website?
"In an effort 2 squash some posers, my daughter is helping me start an Instagram profile. [Check] it out. Hint: it's just my name," the proud father announced on Twitter after posting an adorable father-daughter photo on his profile.
The said photo, simply captioned "Hello Instagram," has him snuggling with his very pretty two-year-old daughter, Justice Jay. He already has more than 500,000 followers just a couple of days after creating the account.
Currently, he's only following his wife, "One Tree Hill" alum Danneel Harris-Ackles, who also recently joined Instagram. She shared another adorable father-daughter summer photo for her first ever post.
"It's been quite the adjustment," Ackles previously told E! News when his daughter was born. "A friend of mine says it's a slightly different gear, and I said, different gear? No, you put it in park, you get out of the car, you get in a different car, you take a left down a wrong street; that's basically where I'm at now."
"I'm lost, I'm just completely lost," he added, noting that he'll be travelling more now that he has a daughter waiting for him at home.
He has been juggling fatherhood, acting and directing ever since.
"Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles isn't the only CW star that decided to join the photo-sharing world. "The Originals" stars Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies also started their own Instagram accounts.
Both actors have been sharing hilarious behind-the-scenes photos of the vampire series. Judging from the snaps that Ackles has been posting on Twitter, it seems that fans will get a lot of sneak peeks from the "Supernatural" set as well.
