Bandai Namco's hit game "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" receives price cut on the game developer's store.
After it is being released few months ago and sold more than 2 million copies, the game continues to gain popularity in the West followed by the screening of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" in North America.
And as a treat to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" fans for this success Bandai Namco slashed off its original price.
For Xbox One and PS4 console owners who haven't gotten their hands on the game yet it is now being offered for $39.99 at the game developer's online store. Also, Best Buy offers the same deal both for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, Geeksnack reported.
Meanwhile, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" online support was rumored to have ended, as players of the "DBZ" game received an error message upon trying to log online.
"Online service for "DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE" has ended. The following features will not be available. Multi Lobby, Timespace Delivery, Registering favourites and Auto-Patrols."
But Bandai Namco was quick to debunk this rumor on Twitter and release a statement to Game Informer which states that they do not have plans to end the game's online support.
"BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America is currently looking into the online connectivity and feature set limitation issues that some players may be experiencing with Dragon Ball Xenoverse," Bandai Namco's said to Game Informer.
"Players should expect full online functionality for Dragon Ball Xenoverse to be restored soon. There are no plans to sunset any online features for Dragon Ball Xenoverse at this time."
Amidst the game's online support issue, Bandai Namco recently conducted a survey on "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" gameplay experience and fans' opinion of its localization in the West.
"Within the survey, they have some select points and ask what you thought were positive and negative aspects of the game, as well as rating your satisfaction with certain aspects of the game, like character creation, BGM, and more.,"Attack of the Fanboy wrote.
