Yu Yureka Plus, which is an Amazon exclusive in India, goes on open sale Monday through Wednesday.
Amazon.in has started rolling out its "The Great Indian Freedom Sale" until Wednesday which offers the Yu Yureka Plus without pre-registration until August 12 following its permanent price cut of Rs 8,999 (about $140) from its launch price of Rs 9,999 ($157), GSM Arena reported.
Specs-wise, the entry-level phone boasts decent features for its incredibly low price. According to Phone Arena, it is the cheapest phone to offer FHD resolution screen of 1080 x 1920 in the country.
Moreover, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC (MSM8939) with a clocked speed at 1.5GHz, coupled with Adreno 405 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. It has an onboard storage of 16GB which can be expanded through an external microSD up to 32GB.
Also, it sports a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with an LED flash and a 5MP front snapper.
While its connectivity features include "Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone runs on Cyanogen OS 12, based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It features dual-SIM support, with slots for Micro-SIM cards (4G+3G)." Phone Arena continued.

reported that Amazon India shoppers may also purchase another Micromax device without pre-registration too.
The Yu Yuphoria currently priced at Rs. 6,999 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor supported by 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU, and a built in 16GB storage.
Micromax's Yu Yuphoria sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 lens and LED flash while also featuring a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
In addition, its notable features include dual-SIM capability, accelerometer, ambient sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and an e-compass.
On the other hand, its network connectivity supports LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB.
