There have been several "Jane The Virgin" season 2 spoilers shared in the past couple of months but a new detail revealed gives hope to all the Team Raphael (Justin Baldoni) and Team Michael (Brett Dier) fans out there.
Executive producer Jennie Urman reportedly teased not just one but two weddings in the upcoming season!
"Jane [Gina Rodriguez] will make a choice with one of the guys, eventually, and we will have a wedding at some point in the season," the head writer recently told TV Line recently. Jane isn't the only person getting hitched as well.
Who do you think will Jane choose? The father of her (currently kidnapped) child or her long-time love who's clearly still in love with her?
"By the fifth episode there's an unexpected marriage of two characters, and that's going to be the first wedding. And of course our weddings will have big, fun, whimsical set pieces," Urman added, keeping the identity of the couple involved.
Could the first wedding be for Jane's parents, Xiomara (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil)?
The former flames, who got back together in the first season, broke up, then tried to become friends, got themselves married in Las Vegas during a drunken night. Will there be a second, Rogelio-the-superstar-worthy celebration in store for viewers?
Of course, they would have to work through their issues first. Previous "Jane The Virgin" season 2 spoilers already hinted at an appearance from Rogelio's first wife. Will her presence make Rogelio realize how much he loves Xo or leave her instead?
Viewers will get to find out earlier since the CW announced an earlier premiere date for the sophomore show this Fall! Instead of its original Oct. 19 schedule, "Jane The Virgin" will be shown a week early, on Oct. 12.
According to International Business Times, the schedule change was made to avoid clashing with the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles' NFL match.
