Almost all of "Legends of Tomorrow" cast have their roles defined.
There are superheroes and villains. The gist is all of these characters will play significant roles in saving the world. However, there is still one cast member who is bugging fans of the upcoming DC superhero series. Who will Franz Drameh play?
Franz Drameh is part of the "Legends of Tomorrow" cast and is described as an athlete.
However, unlike those who have appeared in "The Flash" and "Arrow" before, his character will only make his debut in the show. In recent press release, Drameh's character was identified as Jay Jackson. Nothing came out after that.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim sat down with the Hollywood Repoter and at last, mystery over "Legends of Tomorrow" cast Franz Drameh has been solved.
Guggenheim confirmed Jay Jackson is not Cyborg as what earlier speculations think. Instead, he is an ordinary guy with no superpower.
"Franz Drameh was cast as Jay Jackson for Legends, leaving the DC faithful scratching their heads as to who he is. Described as a former high school athlete who was injured in a debilitating accident, Jay isn't the name of a preexisting character in the DC Comics. Klemmer only had this to say: "Jay Jackson is not code for any other DC superhero." Which means he could be an original character similar to that of Gotham's Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith)," THR wrote in its report of the interview.
So there, Jay Jackson is not Cyborg. Regarding the question how big this character will be, fans just have to wait for more spoilers or the first "Legends of Tomorrow" episode.
Aside from Drameh, other parts of "Legends of Tomorrow" cast are Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein / Firestorm, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer / The Atom, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance / White Canary, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Ciara Renée as Kendra Saunders / Hawkgirl, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory / Heat Wave, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart / Captain Cold, Casper Crump as Vandal Savage, and Falk Hentschel as Carter Hall / Hawkman.
