Miami Heat Trade Rumors: Lakers Interested On Mario Chalmers Who Heat Aggressively Wants To Ship?

| By

Recent Miami Heat trade rumors does not sound great, at least for those who witnessed the team that won their last two championships.

Reports have it that Mario Chalmers, one of the core players in the franchise's 2012-2013 back-to-back NBA Championships, is being put in the market.

Marc Stein of ESPN said the seven-year veteran is being released to reduce the team's tax bill and get rid of the player's huge contract.

This Miami Heat trade rumor has been revisited and now, it seems Chalmers is not the only one packing his things out of American Airlines Arena.

"The Miami Heat have shopped a Mario Chalmers trade along with Chris Andersen all offseason and teams like the LA Lakers, Boston Celtics, Portland Trail Blazers, Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, New York Knicks and Magic could consider making moves heading into the season," Sports World Reporter wrote.

"Miami has been looking to cut their tax bill and moving Chalmers and/or Andersen would help that a great deal. According to the Miami Herald, the Heat have been 'aggressively' shopping Chalmers this offseason and it comes after the team already moved Zoran Dragic and Shabazz Napier for financial reasons. Marc Stein at ESPN reported at the end of July that 'rumbles persist' that the Heat want to trade Chalmers before the season starts."

Mario Chalmers is one of the few main guys left in the roster that gave them back-to-back championships before losing to San Antonio Spurs last year.

Their main man, and two-time NBA Finals MVP, returned to his first team Clevelad Cavaliers while Norris Cole and Rashard Lewis are also out. Ray Allen took a rest for the season. Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are still in the line up but the two All-Star players are often injured.

Right now, the team has got Goran Dragic who just signed a massive contract and he is automatically the team's main point guard, justifying Miami Heat trade rumors regarding Mario Chalmers.
