Bandai Namco America started to roll out the "Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden" demo on Nintendo eShop as it was confirmed on the game's official Facebook page that demo version will be out on Thursday, GameInformer reported.
The "Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden" demo includes: two playable modes- Battle and Versus modes which allows two local players; eight Z-Assists characters: Korin, Great Saiyaman, Hercule, Recoome, Tien, Turtle, Mercenary Tao & Majuub and 5 stages such as Rocky Area, Urban Area, World Tournament Arena, Planet Namek & King Kai's Planet, Capsule Computer reported.
Like its Japanese version, the demo features four playable characters - Goku, Gohan (Kid), Vegeta & and Majin Buu.
Meanwhile, the full version will feature a story mode, 20 playable characters and 80 Z-assists characters.
Bandai Namco already confirmed that the "Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden" is set to be released in Europe, the Middle East, and Australasia on Oct. 16, while North American players may get the full version on Oct. 20.
Players who wish to pre-order the game on these regions get an early access to 6 assist characters: Goku from Dragon Ball, Vegito from Dragon Ball Z, and Baby Gohan from "Dragon Ball Z", while pre-orders made through Amazon offers a different bundle which is called the "Virtual Console Game Japanese Version" which comes with a "Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2" game, Siliconera reported.
On the other hand, Japanese players got an amazing bundles too. According to ANN ,some of its first few copies were bundled with "Dragon BallDisk Cross" that features the version of Frieza on the "Resurrection F" movie. It was also bundled with a product code to download "Dragon Ball Super Butoden 2" and card for "Dragon Ball Heroes."
Capsule Computers added that it was also announced on the game's Facebook page that if the game reaches 10,000 downloads, another character will be included on the list of playable characters. Wheras, the tech site assumes that it could possibly Frieza.
Alongside with the demo version's release, a gameplay trailer has been streaming since Thursday, ANN added.
