Internationally-acclaimed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has recently announced that he is staying with Fox Network in the next two years, with at least 80 more hours of programming.
Be prepared for something more.
Gordon Ramsay and Fox Network deal was announced when the chef posted on Twitter that he has signed a contract to do more programming on television.
He wrote, "Will be a busy couple years... Just signed a 2 year deal with FOX to do at least 80 more hours of television!"
Gordon Ramsay's current Fox Network shows are the widely watched "Hell's Kitchen," "MasterChef," and more. According to Deadline, the 80-hour additional programming time does not yet include the upcoming seasons of "Hell's Kitchen" 15 and 16, as well as the fourth edition of "MasterChef Jr."
"We really do not think that it is hard to figure out just why Chef Ramsay is the popular TV figure that he is. He's extremely skilled as a chef, but he is also incredible charismatic, inspiration, and also provides fantastic TV moments," the report on Carter Matt said.
Among the other shows that Gordon Ramsay has on TV such as on Fox Network are "Hotel Hell" and "Kitchen Nightmares." His earnings from these shows, which are reportedly at $400,000 per episode, are still beyond his earnings from his high-end restaurants.
Just in the past couple of weeks, Franchise Herald reported that Gordon Ramsay - with his highest-rated Fox shows - is now the richest celebrity chef, with reported earnings of $60 million according to Forbes.
The list called Celebrity 100 said he is even richer than celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Kim Kardashian, who settled in spots lower than Ramsay's ranking.
"Those restaurants generate $150 million in revenue, a 270 percent increase from five years earlier, including new outposts in Asia, the Middle East and Atlantic City," Gordon Ramsay said in a feature by Forbes, as reported.
