Kim Kardashian got her own before singer Nicki Minaj announced her new video game, is she a copycat to the reality star?
In a report by website Fashion and Style, the "Anaconda" singer is working with game developer Glu Mobile for Nicki Minaj's video game, which will be available in 2016.
Not only is she the inspiration for the smartphone app, Nicki Minaj's new video game will also have her as the creative director and feature her voice, The Mary Sue reported.
Reality star Kim Kardashian reportedly made over $74 million with her game from the same game developer.
"After Kim's game made over $74 million, it is not shocking Glu Mobile would try their luck again with yet another incredibly powerful woman," the Fashion and Style report said.
Glu Mobile CEO Niccolo De Masi reportedly said the Nicki Minaj game with feature the singer's "undeniable characteristics and voice."
"I am thrilled to welcome the undisputed queen of hip-hop, Nicki Minaj, to Glu's growing list of celebrity partners," the CEO said in the report.
Fashion and Style also theorized on the gameplay, as no further details yet have been released. They said fans can expect creative storylines, a powerful lead character and bold outfits.
Other celebrities having a video game
Aside from the Nicki Minaj video game, other celebrities are getting into a mobile game such as Katy Perry and Britney Spears, the Daily News reported.
Pop singer Katy Perry has reportedly signed a partnership with Glu to create a game that is inspired by her life achievements. One of the most-awaited parts of it is a half-time show performance at the Super Bowl.
Meanwhile, Britney Spears also signed a five-year contract with Glu to devise a game from her likeness. The Daily News said fans can expect to live her life in the game.
