There's always a Taylor Swift song for everybody - and with the 25-year-old singer's next single due soon, every Swiftie's "wildest dream" is about to come true.
After her record-breaking (not to mention star-studded) music video for "Bad Blood," which also caused - well, bad blood - between her and Nicki Minaj briefly, Swift took to Twitter to announce the next single from her "1989" album.
"Just wanted to let you know that the next single from 1989 will be ... Wildest Dreams," Swift wrote.
Swift's fans are excited for the release of her next single, despite a lot of people pointing out that the song sounds like Lana Del Rey's "Without You."
In a previous interview with NPR, Swift explained that "Wildest Dreams" is her current view on love after so many heartbreaks.
"I used to think that, you know, you find The One. It's happily ever after, and it's never a struggle after that," the Pennsylvania-raised crooner explained. "Lots of things are gray areas and complicated situations, and even if you find the right situation relationship-wise, it's always going to be a daily struggle to make it work."
"So those are different themes that I don't think people have really seen in my lyrics before," she added. "'Wildest Dreams' is an example of that."
The singer also explained some of the song's lyrics like: "Say you'll remember me/ Standing in a nice dress/ Staring at the sunset, babe/ Red lips and rosy cheeks/ Say you'll see me again/ Even if it's just in your/ Widest dreams,"
"If I meet someone who I feel I have a connection with, the first thought I have is: 'When this ends, I hope it ends well. I hope you remember me well,'" Swift said. "It's that realization that it's the anomaly if something works out; it's not a given."
Taylor Swift's previous songs may have spoken about so many aspects of relationships but "Wildest Dreams" is by far her most sexually-themed song ever.
With lyrics like: "I said, 'no one has to know what we do'/ His hands are in my hair/ His clothes are in my room," Swifties that are crushing on the singer will surely have their "Wildest Dreams" met. Musically.
