Stan Lee Picks Superman Over Batman In Warner Bros. 'Dawn Of Justice' Movie! 'Man Of Steel' A Clear Winner

| By

The debate as to will win over Batman vs. Superman might have just been ended.

Marvel Comics chairman, Stan Lee, has finally chosen and his choice did not come as surprising at all.

The quintessential comic guy that he is, Lee has offered his thoughts in the upcoming Warner Bros. movie "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."

In an interview with Boston Herald as quoted by Movie Pilot, Stan Lee said that he'd bet on Superman over Batman at any time.

"Superman, I think," he answered when asked whom will he bet his money on. "He's indestructible and can do anything; Batman relies on weapons, the fellow who created Batman, Bob Kane, is a friend of mine, so he'd be unhappy of me saying that. But at the same time, Jerry Siegel, one of the creators of Superman, used to work for me for awhile, so I have divided loyalties."

He further reiterated that Superman is a clear winner between the two if Batman will indeed fight with Superman in real life.

"But if this is real -- a fight between Batman and Superman -- there's no one who should bet on Batman."

However, Lee said that despite choosing Superman, he likes Ben Affleck, being that he's from Boston.

"Well, I like Ben Affleck," he conceded. "If they get Mortimer Snerd to play Superman, maybe Affleck would have a chance."

And if considering the movie, it seems like Batman has no chance in winning over Superman in "Dawn of Justice," given that Bruce Wayne is going to be older in the movie, which has been confirmed by director Zack Snyder during an interview with Empire Magazine.

"We are playing him 45 or 46," Snyder confirmed."He has been Batman for 20 years. All the history is there. Was there a Robin at one time? Possibly."

Affleck, who now wears the cape of Dark Knight reflected on his character, revealing how Batman would be more "broken" in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie.

"Initially I thought, 'I'm older, it doesn't seem like the right sort of fit for me,'" Ben Affleck explained.

"Then Zack pitched me his concept for this older, more broken, kind of f**ked up Batman. It was something we haven't seen. We have seen that Batman is willing to cross the line to protect people. That vigilantism has been a part of his character all along, and we are tapping into that mentality when faced by something as potentially as deadly a Superman."
