After announcing to the public that they are getting a divorce, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have been throwing cheating accusations against each other.
The 39-year-old country singer allegedly had a mistress who recently spoke to a magazine regarding their affair.
Cady Groves told In Touch magazine that she had sex with Shelton for at least a year and admitted that she still cares for him despite getting dumped.
"After four years of being apart, I wouldn't hurt him the way he hurt me. When you love someone, it doesn't matter if they run over your heart with a truck and shoot you in the face - you forgive them. I want to lie to protect him," the 25-year-old songstress confessed.
After hearing that interview, Blake Shelton asked his attorney to take action insisting that he didn't have an affair with Cady Groves.
According to TMZ, his lawyer sent a letter to the magazine which asked them to retract the story or else they will sue them. It also says in the letter that the "Forget You" singer is infatuated with "The Voice" coach and that everything she said was a lie.
"Mr. Shelton did not have a sexual relationship or affair of any nature whatsoever with Ms. Groves," Blake's attorney wrote.
However, In Touch magazine has no plans of removing the cheating scandal story and even claimed that they have more exclusive news about Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's divorce.
While the "Lonely Tonight" hitmaker deals with the mistress rumors, his ex-wife has to face cheating accusations with several men.
According to OK! Magazine, the 31-year-old country singer had an affair with Blake's close friends Jamey Johnson, Chris Young, and even baseball player Josh Beckett who's married as well.
"A member of her band had had enough of witnessing her behavior around him and finally told Blake," their source said.
Apart from the cheating scandals, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's drinking habits and frequent fights may have caused their divorce.
"Miranda would get drunk and lash out at Blake, punching and screaming if she thought he was so much as looking at another woman. Blake had normally been drinking too, and the fights would ignite like nothing I'd seen," their insider revealed.
