Game developer, Activision Blizzard, has finally confirmed 'Starcraft 2: Legacy Of The Void' release date and more gameplay details revealed at Gamescon 2015., IB times reported.
The last franchise on the "Starcraft 2 Trilogy" is finally coming any time this year. It was revealed during its quarterly call to investors, but its exact release date is still unknown.
It was expected that more details will be announced at Activision Blizzard's participation at Gamescon 2015, and earlier today the game developer introduced a new cooperative mode on "Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void," IGN
"In Allied Commanders, you play as one of the many heroic leaders in the StarCraft II universe. Each with an arsenal of various powers and abilities and a select group of unit types which you may use to compose your army. All of these tools make playing each commander a unique experience," the game developer posted on Battle.net.
"Terran commanders bring mighty war machines like the Hyperion to battle, Zerg commanders control mighty heroes like Kerrigan, and Protoss commanders call down destructive abilities from their ships in high-orbit. You'll be able to choose which style suits you best.
Players may choose of the three commanders namely:
-Raynor "commands infantry and strategic support units" and "calls down the Hyperion and Banshee Airstrikes."
-Kerrigan is a "controllable hero with psionic abilities" and "commands powerful Zerg units."
- Artanis "warps units instantly into battle and "harnesses offensive and defensive Spear of Adun abilities."
The post went on about the mission, objective and difficulty of the game, and added how to unlock units and upgrades.
The game went on pre-order last June, and players may choose between Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and a retail-exclusive Collector's Edition.
Since there were no announcement about "Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void" release date at Gamescon 2015, IB Times speculates that it might be announced at BlizzCon on November 6 or 7 or could be launched at the event.
