‘Beauty And The Beast’ Star Emma Watson ‘Uncomfortable’ With Acting! Is She Retiring Early?

| By

"Beauty And The Beast" star Emma Watson took the film industry by storm at such a young age when she played the brainiac witch Hermione Granger in Warner Bros' "Harry Potter" franchise.

However, is the British beauty already tired of acting?

The 25-year-old actress recently appeared on the cover of Vogue UK and she divulged some surprising information about herself and her career.

Watson revealed that she actually feels "uncomfortable" now when she gets recognized for her acting.

"It's something I've really wrestled with. I've gone back and I've quizzed my parents," she told the magazine. "When I was younger, I just did it. I just acted. It was just there. So now when I receive recognition for my acting, I feel incredibly uncomfortable. "

She added, "I tend to turn in on myself. I feel like an imposter... It was just something I did."

Does this mean she's planning to retire soon? It doesn't seem so.

Aside from the upcoming Disney live action adaptation of "Beauty And The Beast," Emma Watson has several other films lined up for her in the next couple of years.

She will be appearing with Ethan Hawke later this year in the thriller "Regression." She's also set to star with Michael Nyqvist and Daniel Bruhl in "Colonia," as well as Tom Hanks in "The Circle."

While the Brown University graduate feels "uncomfortable" with acting, she certainly feels differently with her role as a U.N. Ambassador for Women.

"Part of me relaxed after I took on that position, it gave me a sense of belonging and purpose," she shared to Vogue. "Everything clicked in to place, in a way that it hadn't before. I understood what I'm here to do and knew where to channel all this energy that has been coming at me."

Not only did she "feel this sense of peace," she apparently became "different since I did it."

Do you think "Beauty And The Beast" star Emma Watson will end her acting career early and focus on her advocacy for gender equality? Perhaps she could do both and excel at them as well.
