It's been ten years since Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt starred in one movie.
They played husband-and-wife assassins in the action flick "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" back in 2005. Since then, the couple remained focused on their five children and respective careers. Until they've decided that it's time to do another film together.
The 40-year-old actress and the 51-year-old actor will be playing an unhappy couple in "By The Sea" which is scheduled for release in Nov. 13, 2015. Their characters become involved with a pair of newlyweds who were staying in the same seaside inn in France.
During an interview with the Director's Guild of America (DGA), Angelina Jolie shared one of the most difficult scenes she ever did in the movie.
"I'd be directing myself and him in a scene where we're having a fight, and I'd be pulling out the parts [of him] that have an aggression toward me or when you're frustrated with each other-it was very heavy," she confessed.
"We kept joking that all of the crew felt like they were living in a house where the parents were fighting and you don't know where to stand or where to look," she added. According to the "Maleficent" star, "By the Sea" is an art film that she would like to watch but not be part of the cast. "We're proud of ourselves for being brave enough to try it," she said. "I think 'By the Sea' was the hardest film for me because it wasn't [issue-driven]. It's something I probably won't do very much of."
Angie also revealed that she wrote the film with her husband during their honeymoon. Maybe "By The Sea" was somewhat based on their life.
During an interview with Vanity Fair last year, Angelina Jolie admitted that her children with Brad Pitt helped them write their wedding vows.
"They did not expect us never to fight, but they made us promise to always say 'Sorry' if we do. So they said, 'Do you?,' and we said, 'We do!'" the actress said.
