The "Legends of Tomorrow" cast has become more diverse than ever.
After announcing a new member of the superhero team yesterday, the new CW Network comic book-based series has now named the actor who will play supervillain Vandal Savage.
CW Network announced Danish actor Casper Crump will join "Legends of Tomorrow" cast as supervillain, Vandal Savage. Crump hasn't really starred in American TV or movie project but earns lots of credits in his home country where he also tiptoes in music.
Like other main "Legends of Tomorrow" cast, DC comics supervillain Vandal Save will appear in both "The Flash" and "Arrow" where it was spun off from.
Vandal Savage is "immortal, having spent the past 6,000 years moving like a virulent disease through history, whispering in the ears of despots and dictators, all leading to his eventual domination of the world."
In the comics, he first appeared in Green Lantern vol. 1 #10 and went on to become a recurring villain to the entire or selected members of the Justice League.
Just yesterday, "Legends of Tomorrow" cast welcomed a new member Falk Hentschel, who will play Carter Hall a.k.a. Hawkman.
Other "Legends of Tomorrow" cast members are Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Arthur Darvill who will play Rip Hunter, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell as Captain Cold and Heatwave, respetively, Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl, and Caity Lotz as Sarah Lance/White Canary.
