The upcoming Huawei Mate 8 leaked in a video which reveals some of its features.
Phone Arena reported that gadget leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, the editor of Nowhereelse.fr, has posted the clip on Twitter.
The video confirmed that the alleged Huawei Mate 8 with the model number M200-UL00 will feature a fingerprint scanner and a metal build design, and no other features that have been revealed on the video.
However, as per previous rumors the Huawei Mate 8 will sport a 6-inch screen display, which renders 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution with 490ppi and will pack a 64-bit octa-core Kirin 950 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
A cheaper variant on the other hand, will boast 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage will be available too, Pocket Lint reported.
In addition, it will sport a 20.7 MP rear camera with an 8 MP front facing selfie snapper and a 4,100 mAh unit.
Trusted Reviews added that ahead of the leaked video, Huawei has previously announced that the Mate 8 will be announced in September 02 at the start of IFA 2015.
On the other hand, another upcoming Huawei device might be launched at the same event. A new variant of the Honor series has passed TENAA certification.
A new Huawei smartphone with model number ATH-L00 has emerged with photos from TENAA which shows the upcoming device will feature a camera that can be slid upward to reveal its front camera and LED flash.
"This is an interesting approach to the device design which keeps the front display free and clear of a camera lens until the user would slide the camera on the back up into position to allow for front facing photos," Android Headlines noted.
Also, it seems like that the Chinese tech firm has embraced the metal build design on their smartphones. Thus, this yet-to-be-named device is clad in a metal casing.
The photos also hint that the upcoming Huawei device might support dual-sim capabilities, based on the two trays on its side-which presumably sim card trays.
