'Legends Of Tomorrow' Cast 'Agents Of SHIELD' Actor Falk Hentschel As Carter Hall/Hawkman

"Legends of Tomorrow" cast has a new member.

The new CW Network TV series confirmed in last month's San Diego Comic-Con that Hawkman will appear in the show. Now, they finally found an actor for the iconic DC comics character.

CW announced Falk Hentschel is set to join "Legends of Tomorrow" cast as Carter Hall a.k.a. Hawkman. Hawkman's comics love interest Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl is already in the show and will be played by Ciara Renee. Saunders already appeared in the finale of the first season.

"The CW has announced that Falk Hantschel has been cast as Hawkman in DC's Legends of Tomorrow," Comicbook.com reported.

"Falk will play Carter Hall, the latest reincarnation of an Egyptian Prince who is fated to reincarnate throughout time along with his soulmate, Kendra Saunders (played by Ciara Renée). Like Kendra, Carter can access the powers of the Hawk God, Horus, transforming him into the winged warrior known as Hawkman."

Falk Hantschel credits include action movies "White Houes Down", "Transcendence", and "Extraction." In television, he already made appearances in ABC shows "Revenge" and Marvel TV series "Agents of SHIELD."

It won't be long before fans get a glimpse of the new "Legends of Tomorrow" cast. The CW Network announcement also said Hentschel will appear in the first crossover episode of "The Flash" and "Arrow" slated this fall.

Earlier "Legends of Tomorrow" scoop revealed Carter Hall and Kendra Saunder will start as strangers to each other.

"As you may have heard, Carter Hall, aka Hawkman, is coming to DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but I hear we'll actually see him pop up on The Flash and Arrow first," Entertainment Weekly wrote.

"Described as charismatic and wise beyond his years, Hawkman is a natural-born leader with an abundance of charm and confidence-well, that's because he's 5,000 years old. Much like the comic book iteration, Carter retains his memories of his past lives each time he is reborn, though his lover (aka Hawkgirl) is born anew. In other words, Kendra Saunders will have no idea who he is at first."

Falk Hantschel will join the "Legends of Tomorrow" cast that already boasts Arthur Darvill who will play Rip Hunter, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell as Captain Cold and Heatwave, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, and Caity Lotz as Sarah Lance/White Canary.
