Latest "The Strain" season 2 episode guide did not speak much about this new character that turned heads and raised eyebrows in the last two episodes.
Samantha Mathis' Justine Feraldo debuted last two weeks ago and instantly became a compelling character for many fans. However in the latest "The Stain" season 2 episode called "Silver Angel", people did not see much of her.
"The Strain" Season 2 episode guide in Futon Critic was released and it did not even mention Mathis' character.
However, according to the actress herself, people will get to know more of Justine in succeeding episodes. She also shared more details about her character.
"Well, I think that's a really excellent question. I mean, this is a woman who certainly has a past, as exemplified from the episode just this last Sunday night," Mathis said in an interview with Dread Central.
"She lost a brother and a husband in 9/11. Certainly, Staten Island has received sometimes less than stellar treatment from New York City. So I think that she is very protective of her people, and she's very dedicated to her people, but there's always a potential, when you're in a position of power, to be corrupted by it. I think that her intentions are really true to protect her people, but that was one of the aspects that intrigued me about playing this character."
Mathis also assured Justine and show's main characters like Eph (Corey Stoll), Nora (Mia Maestro), Vasiliy (Kevin Durand) will cross paths in the following "The Strain" season 2 episodes.
"I think that all roads will be colliding... [Reggie] certainly does know quite a bit of what's going on, and I'm really not supposed to give much away. I can only say that my character, at this point, is rather isolated, but I will be crossing paths with more characters."
Next episode is called "Quick and Painless." Read "The Strain" season 2 episode guide below:
