Caitlyn Jenner's voice change becomes her new challenge - a challenge that she accepts by practicing her "feminine voice" with (former) stepdaughter, Kim Kardashian and her friend, Malika.
In the new episode of "I Am Cait," the 65-year-old Olympian admits to struggling with her femine voice, telling Kim Kardashian that she would order room service, hoping the other person on the line would call her "ma'am."
"I'd be sitting there in my little room, all by my lonesome, and I'd think, Okay! I'm going to try to get my best feminine voice and call down so they say, 'Yes, ma'am,'" Caitlyn told Kim K and Malika. "I could never do it."
Hearing Caitlyn Jenner's voice change problems, both Kim and Malika encouraged Caitlyn to try putting on her feminine voice, something that she admits to being insecure about in a blog post.
After Caitlyn's attempt at a feminine voice, Kim says: "You sound no different!" and they all laugh.
"I didn't think so!" Jenner laughs.
Caitlyn later on reveals how important it is for her (and for every other woman) to have a voice which one can feel good about.
"Women cannot relate to the whole voice thing," Jenner reveals. "They don't see it as being that important when it is that important, not only for you to speak and order and do all that kind of stuff, but very important for your soul that you're feeling good about that."
After receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award in this year's ESPYS, Jenner revealed her insecurities about her voice in a blog post.
"While I felt like I looked great and that the gown looked fabulous, I still have a voice issue. It's not quite right compared to my feminine appearance. That bothers me a little bit. However, I hope that people don't listen to the pitch of my voice, but listen to what I have to say." she wrote.
