'Arrow' Season 4 Premiere, Spoiler News, And More: New Flashbacks Villains Confirmed

| By

Stephen Amell has shared a lot of details about the "Arrow" season 4 premiere in the previous weeks.

This includes his character Oliver Queen/Arrow returning to Starling City equipped with new sets of skills.

While the present day boasts of an improved Emerald Archer, people will also see more of what he was and what shaped him into a vigilante before he reunited with his city.

There are only more than one month left before the "Arrow" season 4 premiere episode airs and the show is not yet done adding new cast and characters. The latest one is someone who was present in Olie's life five years ago. This spoiler was first reported by Variety.

"The CW's "Arrow" has cast "Falling Skies" alum Ryan Robbins in a recurring role for season four, Variety has learned exclusively."

"Robbins will play Conklin, a sadistic and ruthless member of Shadowspire who will be an adversary for Oliver (Stephen Amell) in the flashback sequences. The show's flashback arc will also see the titular hero take on Jimmy Akingbola's Baron Reiter (aka Baron Blitzkrieg in DC Comics Canon), who is the leader of Shadowspire."

Robbins' first appearance is on third episode.

"Robbins will make his first appearance in episode three of season four. The actor is one of several new additions for the superhero show's fourth year; he'll join Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt (aka the heroic Mr. Terrific), Neal McDonough as villain Damien Darhk and "Star Trek: Voyager" favorite Jeri Ryan as Jessica Danforth, a friend of the Queen family with political ambitions."

In previous "Arrow" season 4 spoiler, executive producer Marc Guggenheim said there will be a surprise scene in flashbacks.

"We have a really great surprise for the season premiere for the flashbacks, and it's made talking about the flashbacks very difficult," Guggenheim said.

"We pick up basically in real time. It's been a number of months later since the last flashback. Oliver is in Coast City, as eagle-eyed viewers noted when he boarded the boat at the end of season 3. What happens there and how he comes to cross with Reiter, that we need to keep secret because it would spoil a pretty big twist in episode 401."

"Arrow" season 4 premiere is October 7.
