Lowell Won’t Be Coming Back For ‘iZombie’ Season 2! Which Other Show Will Bradley James Be In?

| By

Many viewers are still hoping for Lowell to come back to "iZombie" season 2 but even zombies, once shot in the head, won't be getting back up again. Fans of Liv's sweet zombie boyfriend won't have to mourn him for long, though.

British actor Bradley James will be starring in his own series!

Although he won't be craving human brains in "Damien," he will still be portraying a character that's not entirely normal.

James, who starred as Prince Arthur in the hit BBC show "Merlin," will be portraying the antichrist from the 1976 horror film, "The Omen." According to Zap2It, Damien Thorn will be starting off the A&E show at 30 years old, making it a "direct sequel" to the previous film.

"We decided to make him 30 because Christ was 30 when he started his journey," show creator Glen Mazzara reportedly shared during the San Diego Comic Con last July.

Damien will be starting his journey to bring upon the apocalypse on Earth at the same age that Jesus started preaching God's word to save it. He will discover his destiny when the mysterious Ann Rutledge (Barbara Hershey), tells him about his real identity.

The news site called "Damien" the "the anti-Christ story of the actual Antichrist."

Although fans would have wanted to see James as Lowell again in "iZombie" season 2, his new character as a war photographer-turned-antichrist will hopefully make Damien an interesting character as well.

"With every show that introduces a new premise, a lot can happen in a short space of time to introduce you to a world. The moment that got me in the script was when there was a personal outcry when he's searching for the reasons why," the actor himself shared about his new character. "That's the moment in the script where I was like 'Okay, he's a human being. I'm really rooting for him.'"

Which character would you prefer to see Bradley James as? Damien Thorn in this new drama or as Lowell in "iZombie" season 2?
