Mark Zuckerberg posted a new Facebook Life Event on Friday - he is finally having a baby girl with wife Priscilla Chan.
Millions of Facebook users received the good news as the announcement of Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan appeared on their News Feed last Friday.
"Priscilla and I have some exciting news: we're expecting a baby girl!" the Facebook CEO posted. "This will be a new chapter in our lives. We've already been so fortunate for the opportunity to touch people's lives around the world."
The post has already garnered more than 1 million likes and almost 40,000 shares as of press time. As Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan post more photos of the pregnancy in the coming days and months, the world expects Facebook's three billion users to bear witness to the developments.

Mark Zuckerberg was open to share the story behind his wife Priscilla Chan's miscarriages before finally being able to enter pregnancy.
His wife, a doctor and educator, reportedly went through three miscarriages before this milestone, according to Fox8 News.
"In today's open and connected world, discussing these issues doesn't distance us; it brings us together," Mark Zuckerberg went on. "It creates understanding and tolerance, and it gives us hope."
He further said that one feels hopeful when learning about being a parent soon, as he or she starts imagining who they will become in the future. Having miscarriage is a "lonely experience" and is a "struggle on your own," he added.
"We hope that sharing our experience will give more people the same hope we felt and will help more people feel comfortable sharing their stories as well," he said.
