After surprisingly leaving the long running "Vampire Diaries" show, Nina Dobrev tried to stay away from the limelight.
And while she's busy with her personal life, she was also bombarded with depress rumors.
However, the 26-year-old Bulgarian actress was quick to debunk such claims when she suddenly appeared in public with a new boyfriend in tow.
And while reports claim that they are still a new couple, it seemed that Nina Dobrev and her new boyfriend, "Whiplash" actor Austin Stowell are getting serious.
Dobrev was photographed getting cozy with Stowell in their latest outing in south of France. The couple apparently spent time with their friends relaxing on a yacht while in France.
"The couple - who were first linked last month - are enjoying a luxury getaway on a yacht in the south of France and could not keep their hands off each other on Sunday," Daily Mail said of the couple's sighting. "Nina, 26, straddled the 30-year-old actor as they put on a passionate display on the deck of the vessel, so caught up in each other that they didn't have eyes for anyone else."
Inquisitr added that the new couple is looking serious in their relationship despite just being together for a few weeks.
Their good friend Selena Gomez was reportedly the one who introduced the two together.
After being single for quite some time after her split with long time boyfriend and "Vampire Diaries" co-star Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev reportedly felt the sparks with Austin only after they started filming "In Dubious Battle."
"Selena and Austin became close friends while filming 'In Dubious Battle' in Atlanta. It was Selena who went on and on about how wonderful and beautiful and talented Nina is," a source of Hollywood Life revealed.
"Austin and Nina are both signed to the same agency CAA and had crossed paths before, but it wasn't until spending time in Atlanta that they really got to know each other. This was back in January, so the two of them have been seeing each other since then."
Speaking of ex-boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder is reportedly happy with Nina Dobrev's new found love.
"Ian actually knew about Nina's new relationship, but he never really brought it up while on set," sources allegedly close to the former couple dished out.
"He respected that she didn't want to hear about Nikki and she respected that he didn't' want to hear about Austin. One less thing to worry about: Ian is all about Nikki, his causes, the show and a handful of metaphysical stuff that goes through his mind. He just wants Nina to be happy, and if she is happy with Austin that is good enough for him."
