Previous reports suggested that the British acoustic singer was dating one of his close friends, Irish model and former reality TV star Louise Johnston after he appeared in several of her Instagram posts.

"Louise and Ed have been friends for years but now they have become a lot closer. They are constantly in touch, even when he is on tour, but he is coming here soon for a gig in Dublin and they will be able to catch up then," Mirror UK previous reported a source as saying, adding that both of their friends and family already know about the relationship.
On the other hand, Famous Fix listed "Teen Wolf" actress Alisha E. Hearst as his current girlfriend despite limited information about this supposed coupling.
The Inquistr has also been hinting at a possible romantic connection between the Grammy-nominated singer and his BFF Taylor Swift's other bestie Selena Gomez.
Other than the fact that they sometimes run in the same circle, however, there seems to be no concrete evidence for the supposed relationship.
He was also spotted hanging out with supermodel Barbara Palvin in Australia earlier this year.
With all the rumors going around, including a supposed romantic intervention from his friends, Ed Sheeran finally addressed his girlfriend issue with Lisa Snowden and Dave Berry at Capital London's Breakfast Show earlier this month.
'It's actually non-existent at the moment. I'm not in anything," he reportedly told the hosts when asked about the girls being linked to him after his break-up with food stylist Athina Andrelos.
He added that he went straight to work after the split, giving him no time "to settle with it."
"So yeah I'm still kind of in that space, I'm still in my working space. I haven't really had time to sit back and re-evaluate personal life, because I don't really have a personal life," he continued.
