"Banshee" season 4 release date is not yet here but that is not the only sad part. When the hit Cinemax TV series returns for an eight-episode arc, that will be the last of it.
There is no more "Banshee" beyond fourth season according to reports.
New details on "Banshee" season 4 released last night by TV Line and they are certainly not what the fans were anticipating.
"The jig is almost up for Lucas Hood. Although unconfirmed by Cinemax, TVLine has learned exclusively that Banshee's upcoming eight-episode fourth season will be the show's last. I'm told producers have known for some time that that end was near, and, as a result, were able to craft an "epic" conclusion to the series," wrote TV Line's Michael Ausiello.
There is not much "Banshee" season 4 spoiler around. Fans are still kept under the dark regarding the storyline for the action series' fourth season.
This is why the cancellation shocked fans. However, in an interview with TV Guide shortly after the third season's finale, EP Greg Yaitanes said they are already thinking of an end game for the show.
"Oh, absolutely. The good thing is our relationship with Cinemax is such that when it's time to end Banshee we'll be given an opportunity to end it respectfully. I feel like the show is closer to its end than its beginning, but it's always had a limited premise and lifespan. We always push hard to make sure every episode is better than the one before it, and that takes an enormous amount of energy and creativity and work. I feel like we have a really solid three acts that we told with Lucas' story, and I'm very excited about the next chapter."
"Banshee" season 4 release date is expected to be announced soon. The show stars Antony Starr as lead star Lucas Hood, Ivana Miličević as Anastasia / Carrie Hopewell, Ulrich Thomsen as Kai Proctor, Frankie Faison as Sugar Bate, Hoon Lee as Job, and Lili Simmons as Rebecca Bowman.
