Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner officially announced their divorce on their 10th wedding anniversary.
Despite ending their marriage, the two remained together for the sake of their kids. According to PEOPLE, the 42-year-old actor is currently staying in Atlanta with their three children because the 43-year-old actress is filming "Miracles from Heaven."
"He's going to be there for most of the summer," their source said. "That was the plan. He's happy to be there with the family."
It must be difficult for the former Hollywood couple to stay in one roof now that they have officially ended their marriage. But according to new reports, the two have been in that situation for quite some time.
Us Weekly reported that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner had a secret 10-month trial separation. During that time, the star of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" got romantically linked to their nanny Christine Ouzounian.
Sources revealed that the 28-year-old Arizona State University grad was hired by the couple from an upscale nanny agency in Beverly Hills to take care of their three children - Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.
"They would hang out without the kids," the nanny's pal revealed. "And they were very flirty." When Jennifer found out that Ben was cheating on her, she fired Christine but their relationship didn't end. They always hang out and get in touch with each other through text and email. "She says Ben really, really likes her," her pal said. "She's saying this is true love."
However, Ben Affleck denied the cheating rumors and his representative said: "all allegations of a romantic relationship are baseless and untrue." A few days after the couple announced their divorce, reports have been coming out that it was the actor's unfaithfulness that triggered the "Alias" star to end their marriage.
"Garner told her friends that Affleck had admitted to cheating with an attractive love interest," an insider told Us Magazine. "A devastated Garner kicked the two-time Oscar winner out of their $17.5 million home in L.A.'s Pacific Palisades, but eventually decided to forgive him."
Christine Ouzounian could be the love interest that Ben Affleck was referring. Unfortunately, Jennifer Garner allegedly got tired of his cheating ways which led to their divorce.
