Miss USA Olivia Jordan On Her Way To Miss Universe 2015! Nude Scene Issue Now Closed

| By

The world of pageantry erupted when nude photos of Miss USA Olivia Jordan circulated online, risking her of losing her participation in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant.

In a recent interview with "97 Rock" as reported by Inquisitr, Olivia Jordan is on her way to representing the US in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant this year, adding that she has no regrets about her decision.

"It was something that I shared with them before," she said in the interview. "I had to make sure that I cleared with them and it was still on brand with what they are doing. I'm an actress and that was an acting role for a television show. I have no regrets about my decision."

A few days after she was crowned to represent the US in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, photos of her naked in a movie circulated online, causing stirs and speculations that she must be dethroned, Franchise Herald reported.

The report further said the controversial photos started on online forums and Facebook groups with pageant fans eagerly talking about her possible dethronement as the new Miss USA 2015 because of the photos.

A separate story published by Inquisitr quoted the pageant contact which reads, "I have never appeared on any television contest game or reality show or applied to be a contestant or participant on any television contest game or reality, and I have never appeared, or agreed to appear, in any other television show or motion picture."

In one movie titled "Murder In The First," she was reported to appear in a nude scene showing her full behind, the photos leaked online.

"It was a great acting opportunity and, you know, if you look at all the actresses who have come before me, nudity is sometimes necessary to tell a story," she added in the report.

The Miss Universe organization has faced almost the same issue when photos of Rima Fakih, the beauty queen who represented the US in the Miss Universe 2010 pageant, surfaced online showing her as a pole dancer.

This also stirred speculations of dethronement, but she clarified that the photo was a "morning promotional event."

"I celebrate the female body and not everyone is going to support that or love that out of Miss USA but I think that's a positive thing," Olivia Jordan explained in the report. "I think we're moving in a positive direction of acceptance."

Olivia Jordan is competing with other women around the world in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant later this year.
