These are the same folks behind the screenings of the BBC sci-fi show's 50th Anniversary Special and season eight premiere.

ScreenCrush reported that the "Doctor Who" season 9 prequel will be called "The Doctor's Meditation."

Meanwhile, fans may want to relive the game-changing season 8 finale in 3D. According to BBC America, the official synopsis reads:

"In this epic two-part finale, the Doctor comes face to face with the mysterious Missy, and an impossible choice is looming. With Cybermen on the streets of London, old friends unite against old enemies, and the Doctor takes to the air in startling new role."

For Whovians who can't wait for the season 9 premiere, the special two-day event would be the "perfect way" to get ready for the Doctor and Clara's next adventures, according to Soumya Sriraman, EVP Film, Home Entertainment and Licensing for BBC Worldwide North America.

Season 9 premieres Saturday, September 19 on BBC America, a few days after the "Doctor Who" season 9 prequel and season 8 finale are shown in cinemas.
