Kate Winslet married Ned Rocknroll in a secret wedding ceremony and her Titanic co-star and long-time friend, Leonardo DiCaprio, walked her down the aisle, according to Us Weekly.
Ned RocknRoll, born Ned Abel Smith, is the nephew of Virgin tycoon Richard Branson.
"I can confirm that Kate Winslet married Ned Rock'nRoll in NY earlier this month in a private ceremony attended by her two children and a very few friends and family," a spokesperson told the UK's Daily Mail. The couple had been engaged since the summer.'
This is Kate Winslet's third marriage. She was previously married to Jim Threapleton (1998 - 2001) with whom she has 12-year-old daughter, Mia - and Sam Mendes (2003 - 2010) with whom she has 9-year-old son, Sam.
The wedding took place in a converted barn and was attended by just six friends from each side. RocknRoll works part-time for his uncle's space venture Virgin Galactic. His Best man was his brother Jack, who was with him and Kate at Branson's paradise retreat on Necker Island when it dramatically burnt down last year.
According to The Sun, a source said: "Kate and Ned got married in a really romantic and private ceremony. They had been planning it for a while. They are both so happy and very much in love. Kate is very private and didn't want anyone to know.
"She asked if Leo would give her away because they are best friends."
A friend said: "Kate has never looked so happy. Since she and Ned got together it has been full steam ahead.
