After its highly anticipated release in the US, the hit movie "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" has been confirmed to have a theatrical release in the UK too, VR reported.
The announcement was made at the MC Manchester 2015, at the Manga Entertainment and Animatsu panel which was led by Jerome Mazandarani and Andrew Hewson, while its production in the UK will be under Manga Entertainment UK on September, Japan Curiosity first reported.
The entertainment company is yet to announce where to pre-order tickets and the list of theatres where it will be shown, but it already confirmed that moviegoers that will pre-order tickets will get one of the two exclusive ""Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" freebies that cannot be obtained elsewhere."
The latest movie franchise was shown in Japan in 2D, 3D, IMAX and even 4DX, but US and Canada moviegoers will be only treated with the 2D version, VC Post reported. Whereas, its UK release might be in 2D only too.
Meanwhile, FUNimation is all set for its exclusive premiere of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" that will be held at the AMC Empire 25 located in the 42nd Street Entertainment Center in New York City.
Moreover, Seán Schemmel and Christopher R. Sabat, who played the role of Goku and Vegeta will be attending the said event.
"New York City is home to one of our biggest fan communities and was one of our top cities with last year's Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods," said Gen Fukunaga, CEO and founder of FUNimation.
"We're pleased to bring the U.S. premiere to them as we launch our August 4 - 12 limited theatrical event of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F.'"
Tickets for the US release are still up for pre-order at www.dragonballz.com website, but FUNimation noted that tickets are only limited.
