Janet Jackson Engage to Qatari Billionaire, Planning $20 Million Wedding

| By

Singer and actress Janet Jackson is reportedly secretly engaged to Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana.

According to Us Weekly, Wissam Al Mana, 37, made his money in luxury brands and is the managing director of Al Mana Retail. He proposed to Janet Jackson earlier this year, and gave her a "huge" and "expensive" ring that she keeps locked up because she's too afraid it will get lost.

Wissam is the managing director of Al Mana Retail, which represents A/X Armani Exchange, and he's a shareholder in the Saks Fifth Avenue.

The third time might be a charm for Jackson, 46, who was previously married to James De Barge manager Rene Elizondo. She was also rumored to be secretly married to then-boyfriend Jermaine Dupri in 2009.

Janet's fiancé plans on sparing no expense for their spring nuptials in Qatar, and 'he is flying in all of Janet's friends and family on private jets.'

One source said that the pair's ceremony will undoubtedly be 'a circus,' and Al Mana plans to hire a 'top chef to create a custom menu.'

The couple is planning a lavish $20 million spring wedding, according to reports, that would include flying her family to Qatar on a fleet of private jets.

"She wants kids," a source told Us Weekly. "If she can't have them, she will adopt."

Rumors that the two were planning to marry started soon after the couple began dating, and Jackson even went on "Good Morning America" in October 2010 to deny the reports:

"He is a very private man so i don't talk about our relationship. But it is really important that I just say this. They [media] have been trying to marry me off for a very very long time. No I am not engaged, I will say that. I am in a really good place," she said at the time.
