Questions of whether One Direction's Louis Tomlinson will be a great dad started coming up when the news broke earlier this month.
Sources close to the star and even Simon Cowell himself reportedly confirmed the news that Tomlinson had indeed gotten his close friend, Briana Jungwirth, pregnant.
According to Daily Mail, the stylist is already about 13 weeks pregnant.
With his enormous bank account as one of the world's most popular pop stars, he will definitely be able to provide for the baby's every need.
However, one person seems to be on the fence about the "Steal My Girl" singer's ability to become a devoted father to the yet-to-be-born tot.
Maxx Feldman, Jungwirth's ex-boyfriend, implied that the 23-year-old world star might not be able to cope with this new situation in his life.
"The child is as much his as it is hers, so I'd hope that he would be there," he reportedly told Heat magazine. "I'm sure the child will be looked after financially, but I do wonder how much he is going to be able to contribute, and is he going to be a prominent figure in the baby's life?"
Aside from being surprised with the news of Louis Tomlinson being the child's dad, he also thought that the pair would have a hard time raising their baby.
He compared their current set-up to that of having divorced parents, suggesting that Jungwirth might not want that for her son or daughter.
"Both of us had parents who divorced when we were young, so we were able to talk to each other because we both understood what it was like to go through that. [So] based on what she went through as a kid, I'm sure she knows how she wants to raise the baby," he continued.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life reported that Tomlinson's baby mama has been stressed out since news about her pregnancy broke earlier this month.
Her father, Joe Jungwirth, reportedly said that his daughter was having a hard time "dealing with all the attention."
"Briana's really shy, she's strong but shy, she's tough but shy and she's having a tough time with it, it's stressing her out right now, she's texting me all the time," he reportedly told the site. However, he is also quite excited to see his first grandchild.
"It's a bit of a shock, you know, they're kids, stuff happens, but I'm supporting her. I love her to death and it's all good," he added.
Do you think Louis Tomlinson will be a good dad to his child?
