"The Sims 4: Pets" is reportedly going to be announced as the next expansion pack, after the releases of other packs such as Perfect Patio Stuff, Luxury Party Stuff and Spa Day.
In a report by Inquisitr, EA Games will announce "The Sims 4: Pets" release date during the GamesCom press conference in Cologne, Germany on the first week of August.
The report also pointed out that since the E3 press conference, "The Sims 4" development team has only released the Spa Day expansion pack. Relying on patterns, the next "Sims 4" expansion pack will reportedly be released in September or early October, six months after Get To Work came out.
According to Inquisitr, the next expansion pack will be "The Sims 4: Pets."
A year ago, EA Games launched a survey which hinted at the possible release of "The Sims 4: Pets," another report by Inquisitr said.
The survey said, "Dogs: Create-a-puppy to develop new best companion for your Sim! Teach your dog new tricks, practice the hunting collectibles, playing with toys, or let participate in a dog show! Make your puppy and help them grow!"
It added, "With age, there will be a faithful and loyal companion, or will it aggressive and independent? Your interactions with your dog will shape its future!"
However, the report also emphasized that EA Games will not announce a new pack at all.
The report also mentioned Tech Times saying that Amazon Canada published a bundle for "The Sims 4 Outdoor Retreat" and "Cool Kitchen Stuff," which are unreleased stuff packs.
"The bundle is listed as available on October 20, 2015, so it's also possible that EA will announce both the next expansion pack and 'The Sims 4: Cool Kitchen Stuff,'" the report added.
The GamesCom is happening from August 5 to August 9 in Cologne, Germany. It is held annually gathering game developers and game enthusiasts worldwide.
