Will fans finally get to hear new songs from Adele's highly anticipated new album?
While the "Chasing Pavements" hitmaker has yet to release an official announcement as to when she will launch her new album, there are speculations that it's coming near, following Ed Sheeran's statement.
Apparently, the "Thinking Out Loud" singer has hinted fans that Adele's new album release date could be happening soon after revealing that it's "really good," despite not being able to hear any of the track yet.
"I haven't heard [the record], but everyone I know who've worked on it is just like, 'Dude... that record!' Apparently it's really good," the 24-year-old Grammy winner told Capital FM.
Furthermore, Sheeran who was at Wembley Stadium playing for three nights is also rumored to have collaborated with Adele for the new album, and while he did not mention anything about the said collaboration, he expressed his appreciation to the "Skyfall" songstress after coming to his gigs.
"She's great, I really like her," he revealed. "She sent me a really nice text after the BRITs and she came down to the O2 to check out the gig and she's been really cool.
Mirror on the other hand has teased fans that a source apparenlty close to the situation has reminded fans to keep their eyes open as Adele could possible pull off a Beyonce when it comes to releasing her new album.
"It was complete but she was worried it wouldn't be as good as '21' and went back into the studio a few times," the source reportedly said. "She wanted to release it as a surprise like Beyonce quite a few months ago but it wasn't ready.
"She decided to re-write some of the material but it's now done and will hopefully be released later this year."
According to The Daily Star, Adele could actually pull off a Beyonce where she would surprise her fans with a new album.
"The plan is to release internationally on iTunes as a complete surprise without any previous promotion or build-up publicity campaign," the source reportedly said. "The shock tactics worked amazingly well for Beyoncé and the feeling is Adele's new album is so widely anticipated it doesn't need a long promotional build-up."
