"Legends of Tomorrow" cast is not yet complete. One more pivotal and well known comic book superhero has been added to the team during the San Diego Comic-Con.
DC CCO Geoff Johns confirmed during the event Hawkman will appear in the show that already enlisted his comic book partner Hawkgirl.
New details regarding the Hawkman character in "Legends of Tomorrow" cast emerged few week after the confirmation. Entertainment Weekly reported the alter ego to be used in the show is Carter Hall and it looks like his persona is something that will not sit well with other members of the team.
"As you may have heard, Carter Hall, aka Hawkman, is coming to DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but I hear we'll actually see him pop up on The Flash and Arrow first. Described as charismatic and wise beyond his years, Hawkman is a natural-born leader with an abundance of charm and confidence-well, that's because he's 5,000 years old. Much like the comic book iteration, Carter retains his memories of his past lives each time he is reborn, though his lover (aka Hawkgirl) is born anew. In other words, Kendra Saunders will have no idea who he is at first."
"Legends of Tomorrow" casting team is yet to find and actor for the role so wait for new scoop in the coming weeks.
The yet-to-be-named actor will join a diverse range of "Legends of Tomorrow" cast that features the likes of Arthur Darvill who will play Rip Hunter, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell as Captain Cold and Heatwave, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Caity Lotz as Sarah Lance/White Canary, Ciara Renee as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl.
Franz Drameh is also part of the "Legends of Tomorrow" cast as Jay Jackson, a "former high school athlete whose pro career was derailed by an injury who now works as an auto mechanic."
"Legends of Tomorrow" release date is expected to be in early 2016.
