Prince William airlifted a sick baby to safety in Northern Ireland, despite a threat in the region.
The Duke of Cambridge put his Royal Air Force (RAF) helicopter training to the test and got the sick infant to safety, according to Us Weekly.
The report says that on Dec. 15, Prince William detained his reunion with wife Kate Middleton to perform the described rescue mission. The prince had the sick infant airlifted out of Northern Ireland - in light of an alleged security issue - and transported to medical care in Newcastle upon Tyne, a metropolitan area in North East England.
Additionally, the Duke of Cambridge rescued seamen from Russia, who were shipwrecked.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are expecting a child in 2013. Duchess Kate has been recuperating from symptoms of hyperemesis gravidarum aka a severe form of morning sickness related to her pregnancy.
Prince William has since returned home, and is reported by People to be spending Christmas with Middleton and her family in the West Berkshire town of Bucklebury.
