The upcoming Xioami Mi5 live photo surfaced online.
After a series of leaked specs, the Xioami Mi5 poses on the camera. The alleged live photo reveals an almost bezel less front panel, two speakers at the bottom and a microphone jack, Gizmodo reported.
It was first rumored that the flagship device will feature a USB-Type C connector, and a fingerprint scanner. These features weren't seen in the leaked photo, but there are chances that these may be located at the top panel and back of the device respectively.
The Xioami Mi5 was also said to come in two variants as listed on the TENAA documentation, Softpedia added.
According to Techno Buffalo, the Xioami Mi5 "Plus" will be the first handset to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 coupled with a 4GB of RAM.
It will also sport a 5.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a Gorilla Glass for its screen protection. It measures 155.1 x 77.6 x 6.95 mm and weighs in at 160 grams.
In addition, it will pack a 13MP main camera with dual-done flash and a 4MP shooter on the front.
While on the other hand, Xiaomi Mi5 will sport a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, a 16-megapixel rear camera, a 13-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3,000mAh battery. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and will be heavily modified by Xiaomi's own MiUI software.
Speculations arose that the these two upcoming flagship devices will be released at IFA 2015 in Berlin.
Meanwhile, in celebration of Xiaomi's anniversary Xiaomi Mi4 received a permanent price cut in India, according to First Post.
Last year's flagship can now be purchased at Rs 17,999 on Flipkart as well as on Xiaomi's India website.
