Bobbi Kristina Brown, never regained consciousness after she was put into a medically induced coma after she was found faced down in a bath inside her Atlanta home.
Since it's still a mystery what led to her death, authorities are now planning to conduct to an autopsy.
According to MSN, Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office said that the span of events might "complicate" its effort to reconstruct events, but an autopsy could still rule out some speculations.
Previous police reports described her death as drowning.
"Interpretation of autopsy findings and other information will also be challenging," the medical examiner's office said in the statement.
"However, an autopsy could be helpful to address questions which may arise about the cause of her unresponsiveness and eventual death."
Meanwhile, Nick Gordon found out about girlfriend's passing "just like everyone does, on the internet", a source tells US Magazine.
"His emotions are out of control right now. Nick is on suicide watch, he is out of control and with regret and sadness," the source added.
"He keeps saying that if only (Bobbi Kristina) had heard his voice, things would have been different. She may have lived."
